SaddleSore 2000 Application may be reproduced and distributed as needed for personal or club use.
The SaddleSore 2000 is simply
2,000 or more miles in 48 hours. For the history of the SaddleSore series of rides, you should carefully read and become familiar
with the SaddleSore 1000 rules and history of the ride.
The SaddleSore 2000 Rules
The rules are identical to those of a SaddleSore 1000, except the mileage requirement is at least 2,000 miles in 48
hours.
You may elect to ride more miles in either time period, so long as the total of the 48 hours is greater then 2,000
miles. So if your personal rythme means you would rather ride 1,050 miles on day one and then take an extended motel stop,
well into the second bank of hours, you would have to complete the remaining 950 miles by the end of 48 hours.
You have several options to bail out on this ride. The documents needed are the same as a SaddleSore 1000 and Bun Burner
1500, so if you cannot complete the 2000, you may still have made the 1,500 in 36 hours or 1,000 in 24 hour rides.

from applying for these rides as part of your
SaddleSore 2000 as
it is implied you must have completed those rides.
